About
WHAT is UP y’all! My name is Mackenzie, and I know they all say it but I am SO glad you’re here. Some people call me a hippie because I eat my vegetables and care about the planet and hail from the Pacific Northwest. Whether or not that’s true, I am for-sure heartfelt. My mission here is to encourage you, my friends, to live in a sustainable way, ways that are good for the earth and good for its people. I won’t pretend to be an expert on these topics, but I am committed to learning and to helping others learn.
On a typical day you can find me cuddling up with my (not so lap-sized) puppy and a lukewarm cup of creamy coffee. When I’m not working on recording for my Podcast, I am probably watching the Bachelor and trying to decide if it’s late enough in the day to pour me a glass of pinot. In case you’re wondering, I have two degrees and I’m still trying to figure out how exactly to use them – can I get an Amen?
How would you describe yourself? Do you have a passion for talking about topics like racism, the gender-wage gap, recycling, factory farming, modern-day slavery, or water pollution? Are you interested in humanitarian, social justice, or environmental concerns? Maybe you know nothing about these topics, but do you like to learn? I would LOVE to connect with you. Hit me up on the gram, shoot me an email, or click on over to read about my Podcast that centers around topics like these! Now, let’s raise a coffee cup, wine glass, or reusable water bottle to learning and living – cheers!
