Pelvic health, painful sex, and physical virginity. These are all things discussed on today’s show, but I promise you that your biggest takeaway is going to be the call to action that Meghan gives us all. We are all here on mission to make the world a better place – what are you passionate about and why aren’t you doing anything about it?? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Meghan has a way of making me feel all fired up, and it’s just as true on today’s Part 2 episode!
In Part 1 of this conversation last week, Meghan educated us on what feminism is, what it isn’t, and why we all need it. Today for Part 2, she’s educating us on some of her favorite topics within feminism. In case you didn’t already catch it, we do discuss things like sex and the female anatomy, so if you have little ears around you may want to pop in some headphones before you continue listening! We also discuss how Meghan handles the critics and the negative feedback (because there is a lot of that!). But there’s also a lot of positive feedback and people who Meghan has changed the game for. She reminds us that we’re all going to face critics, and that that’s okay. Sometimes we might have to cry and face the mean things that people say, but it’s not these people who we’re accountable to – it’s to ourselves and to God.
And for these reasons, Meghan also empowers us all to take a stand for what we believe in and do something about it! It doesn’t have to be anything major like starting a podcast or writing a book, but it can be as simple as taking the time to educate ourselves more on the topic and discussing it with family and friends. None of us are too small to make a difference, so let’s use our voice for something good! You’re also going to enjoy all the recommendations that Meghan has for us today of things like books, podcasts, and shopping sites! You can view the links to those things and anything else we referenced today below.
